Veterinary Client Care Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our busy independently run veterinary practice.
The candidate will have a passion for animal welfare and client care. Experience within a veterinary practice is a must and the position would suit a veterinary professional looking for a non-clinical role.
The ability to triage over the phone is very important and good communication skills are a must, as well as an ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
Duties will include answering the phone, booking appointments, greeting clients, taking payments, making up medications, keeping the reception area clean and tidy as well as some other administration tasks and assisting the other veterinary staff as required.

This is a full time role - 40 hour week with a shift based pattern (8am-4pm or 11.30am-7.30pm). Saturday shifts on a rota basis 8.30am-5pm. No Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Starting salary is National Minimum Wage but is dependent on experience.

Registered Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate, and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to deliver the highest standards of patient and client care.
Working hours are 5 days per week, 8 hour shifts (between 08:00 and 19:30), inclusive of paid lunch break.1:5 Saturdays 8.30am-4.30pm with the following Monday off. No bank holidays, on call or OOH so a good work-life balance!

5.6 weeks annual holiday plus birthday leave.

We encourage our nurses to develop their own area of interest for which a CPD allowance is provided. RCVS fees paid.
The role is varied with plenty of opportunity to be involved in schedule 3, nurse consults/clinics, some reception work, laboratory and interest in supervising and training students beneficial.
Salary starting from £28,000 and dependent on experience.
We are a very busy, independent, RCVS accredited, small animal practice with a newly opened Wellness Clinic. We aim to provide affordable care to a high standard. We also support local animal rescues and charities as much as we can. Our fantastic team is growing and so far consists of 4 full time Veterinary Surgeons, 1 part time Veterinary Surgeon, 5 full time and 2 part time RVNs, 1 SVN, 2 VCA's and a wonderful reception team that run the show!
We are fully equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental equipment, in-house laboratory, surgical theatre and a comfortable staff room. We also have a new dedicated cat ward and theatre with ISFM Silver accredited Cat Friendly Clinic.

Veterinary Care Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) to assist the Vets and Nurses to deliver the highest standards of patient care. The candidate must have previous experience in a veterinary practice and ideally hold a VCA qualification.

Please note, we are not currently able to offer any student nurse placements.
​
Working hours are 5 days per week, 8 hour shifts (between 08:00am and 19:30pm).
​
No bank holidays, on call or OOH.
